The water gardens at Ngatea - south-west of Thames - are quite beautiful.  Besides the flowers, which everyone photographs, there is an interesting museum at the back and quirky signs scattered around the grounds.  Here are a few of the signs, which appeal to my twisted sense of humour.

Gay Parade

Went into the city to see the annual Gay Parade recently.  Quite colourful, but being in the evening, the light was not very kind to us.

Just for fun

These were all taken with a little pocket point and shoot camera - a Canon A470 - on a dull rainy day. Shows that anyone can do it.

A dull day, in fact, is better than a bright sunny day. No glare and burnt out highlights on the shiny bits.
